Working on self worth and dignity, reclaiming their voice, setting boundaries, and self advocacy
Processing anxiety, depression, and trauma
Seeking clarity on what they need and want in relationships
Finding their way back to trusting themselves
My approach emphasizes meeting you with compassion rather than judgment and ensuring that you feel heard. Sometimes you simply need to have someone sit with you and truly be present. I create space for what you need, and I don't make assumptions about your experience.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
EMDR is highly effective therapy for processing trauma and painful memories. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR allows you to work through difficult experiences without reliving every memory in detail.
EMDR helps with:
Anxiety and depression related to past experiences
Negative self beliefs rooted in painful memories
Clearing memories with lingering disturbance
Trauma and PTSD symptoms
I use an Internal Family Systems influenced approach to EMDR, working with different parts of yourself that may have developed to protect you from pain. IFS offers a path to self acceptance of all the parts of you. This integrated approach often leads to deeper, more lasting healing and moves more quickly than traditional cognitive therapy.
